Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques (nacido el 9 de enero de 1973 en Kingston, Jamaica), más conocido como Sean Paul, es un cantante de dancehall, reggae y rap jamaicano de orígenes sefardí, portugués, chino y africano.

En el 2002, Paul disfrutó una corriente principalmente en el top 10 en Estados Unidos con “Gimme The Light”. Él tuvo más éxito el siguiente año cuando “Get Busy” subió constantemente en los listados, después alcanzando la posición número uno en mayo. El álbum Dutty Rock alcanzó el top 10 en los EE.UU. y aumentó la ventas de más de un millón.
Paul dominó el agitado aire durante el verano, apareciendo en masivos hits por Blu Cantrell (“Breathe”) y Beyoncé Knowles (“Baby Boy”).
